Original Series 1 thru 16 were produced between 1973 and 1976. By the time the last two series hit the stores, popularity was already significantly on the decline. Many collectors, including myself, never saw either of these two series in stores. Prices for series 16 sets have skyrocketed in the past few years. These sets regularly sell for about $2500 on eBay.
